Description
The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) is seeking sources to provide intraoperative neuromonitoring services in support of the Naval Medical Center (NMC) Portsmouth, VA. The contractor shall provide intraoperative neuromonitoring services for up to 335 surgical procedures per year. Remote interpretation is allowable. Board certification in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology is required. Services are required to include the following modalities: somatosensory evoked potentials (SSEP), motor evoked potentials (MEP), electromyography (EMG), electroencephalography (EEG), cortical mapping, brainstem auditory evoked response (BAER), brain stem recordings, etc. Note this is not an exhaustive list meant to limit the type of service provided. This list is provided for informational purposes only. The Contractor shall be prepared to provide service on up to three procedures at the same time. Service is required, as requested, for scheduled and emergency procedures. Service for scheduled procedures will be provided Monday through Friday, exclusive of Federal holidays, from 0650 through 1800 hours. Service for emergency procedures shall be provided at any time Monday through Sunday, including after hours, weekends and Federal holidays. The Contractor shall be required to report to the MTF no later than 90 minutes after receipt of notification for emergency procedures. The contractor shall furnish all equipment and supplies necessary to provide the services described above. The estimated period of performance is 01 November 2021 through 31 October 2026. This sources sought notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data (including a description of remote monitoring, if applicable) and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work. Capability statements shall not exceed 5 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government whether to limit competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Capability statements are due by 10:00 AM Local Time, 04 June 2021. Capability statements shall be submitted by e-mail ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to the following address: joshua.g.blickenstaff.civ@mail.mil.
