- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure specific tools manufactured by IDSC Holdings LLC, dba Snap-On Industrial Corp. (Snap-On) on a Brand Name Basis in support of the H-60 Program.� Potential sources shall be required to provide the tools on the attached draft list (1614 line items) ordered and delivered in 40 different designated sets in various quantities.� Tools must be provided on a Brand Name basis by specific part number in accordance with NAVAIR 17-1H60-1, AIRCRAFT TOOL CONTROL MANUAL, Navy and Marine Corps Model H-60, Dated: 30 APRIL 2016, Changed: 1-15 February 2017. DFARS� 252.225-7015 will apply to this action, thus all �Hand or measuring tools delivered under this contract shall be produced in the United States or its outlying areas.� Potential sources must supply tools with the complete warranty from the OEM flowed down to the Government. Market Research has not found any other sources capable of meeting the Government�s current requirement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for the supplies described above and listed in the attached and will be competed.� This competition will be limited to Snap-On and its authorized distributors under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements"". Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 9:30 AM EDT 08 June 2021 will be considered by the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must include the company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, electronic mail (e-mail) address and company literature sufficient to determine the capability of this company to perform this effort.
