Description
Questions and Answers Question: We are capable of providing this service as requested to the location located in TX. We will need access to install at the service site. Is there a reason why the equipment cannot be delivered directly there? We are trying to get a full scope to ensure we provide all that is being requested. Answer: Please refer to Section 5, Paragraph 5.1.1 Connection. For your convenience Ive posted the excerpt below 5.1.1 Connection. The contracted equipment shall make and maintain at a minimum 80Mbps Downlink and 10Mbps Uplink connection within 20 minutes of being powered on without user or company intervention apart from connection to Government-provided power source. The equipment shall be able to attain satellite connection over Ku Band when moved to another location within the original 22km diameter location without company intervention or action. MODIFICATION P0001 The purpose of this modification is to: Add area of operation locations in the PWS. Provide question and answer clarification recived from industry. Extend the Solicitation closing date from 1000 CST 24 May 2021 to 1000 CST 25 May 2021. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Question and Answers: Question 1. What will be the final service location for the equipment? I see a delivery address in NY in CLIN 0001, but line 6.4 says equipment will be used in Texas. As you may know, the elevation, azimuth, and offsets are completely different from each area. Trained and locked to a satellite for NY will not see the satellite for TX. Please advise. Answer 1: The equipment needs to be delivered to 1 Aviation Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234 per section 6.3 of the PWS. The actually place of performance will be in Nueces County TX and the area of operation detialed in section 6.4 of the PWS. Note: Terminals shall comply with the requirment in section 5.2 of the PWS. Question 2: Will you need setup and training at both locations with 24 hour on-site support 7 days a week? Answer 2: No setup, training or on-site support will be needed. 24 hour 7 days a week support shall be available via phone. Note: Terminals shall comply with the requirment in section 5.2 of the PWS Question 3: CLIN 0002 monthly service and 24 hour onsite support cost for one year? Answer 3: Services should be for 09 June 2021 to 30 June 2021, onsite support is not needed. Question 4: Will there be additional years? Answer 4: No, only for the period of 09 June 2021 to 30 June 2021. Please see the Solicitation attached for details concerning this requirement. Delivery required by June 3rd, 2021.
