Description

The United States Coast Guard intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FPP) award to Tecolote Research. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The purpose of this acquisition is the renewal of the annual ACEIT DMS site fee for Distribution, Maintenance, and Support for CG-9283.� The renewal also includes 7 more licenses at the single DMS site. The support agreement provides technical support, inflation updates, access to secure resources, and access to the latest versions of the software as they become available. ACEIT software is used for analyzing, developing, sharing, reporting cost estimates, and providing a framework to standardize the estimating process. � This action is being taken in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1). A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this notice. This notice serves as both a synopsis of the requirement and public notice of the USCG�s intent to sole source. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. All responses shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist Ty Cassady via email to ty.m.cassady@uscg.mil by 2:00PM EST on May 31, 2021. If the Government does not receive an acceptable response to this announcement by the specified date, negotiations will be conducted with Tecolote Research. as the sole source and a purchase order will be issues without any additional notices being posted.
