Description

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with QRS Calibrations Inc., 22620 Goldencrest Dr. Bldg. D Ste., Moreno Valley, CA 92553 for the purchase of Electrical Safety Analyzers, supplies and accessories pursuant to FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level or quality required because the supplies and services are unique of highly specialized. The equipment being purchased is manufactured by Datrend Systems Inc. and QRS Calibrations is an authorized retailer. The equipment will be utilized by the NAIHS Biomedical Engineering staff to perform testing and validation on medical equipment which currently interfaces directly with the Nuvolo software system used at NAIHS facilities. The applicable NAICS code is 334515. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 750 employees. Any qualified business that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notice to the Contracting Specialist by June 11, 2021�at 12:00 p.m. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with requirements listed. Also, provide specifics which determine that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurement actions. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source acquisition with QRS Calibrations, Inc.
