Description

The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a 40 by 65 foot building on 2nd Street, with original masonry exterior walls constructed in the 1830�s. The building is on the National Historic Register. One of the corners is settling and cracks have formed in the masonry walls. We are developing a project to construct an underpinning system, and restore the Building exterior envelope by reinforcing the foundation, arrest the wall settlement, potentially cross-tie the wall corner, and restore the wall to original condition with associated tuck-pointing, window replacement, and miscellaneous repairs as required by design. NGA is seeking capable Hubzone firms for this effort.� NGA is asking that Hubzones capable of performing work in NAICS code 2381 respond to this RFI and demonstrate their capabilities to meet our requirements as detailed in paragraph 1 above.� Direct examples of similar work on similar historical�structures is requested from interested respondents.� Information received will assist NGA in determining the capabilities of Hubzones to meet our requirement.
