Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) Science-based regulations are the core of the Food Safety Modernization Act.� The equipment shall be used to generate data that represents real-life growing conditions of covered produce (as defined on the Produce Safety Rule) and their interaction with human pathogens of concern (bacteria, virus, and parasites) that represent an on-going threat to the health and well-being of the US consumers that look into improving their nutrition intake by consuming fresh fruits and vegetables.� The FDA research teams will be generating research protocols and providing data to answer questions postured by the CFSAN program offices and aligned with the CFSAN FY Regulatory Research Strategic Plan of the Office of the Center Director. The Research Lap currently functions with six (6) CONVIRON GEN1000 growth chambers. For that purpose, compatibility to existing systems, protocols and materials is required for the purchase of the additional growth chambers. Date: May 20, 2021 Amendment 01 to (RFQ-FDA-1240351) for Purchase of Four (4) each Growth Chambers� Subject: Questions and Responses to Request for Quote A). Description: The purpose of this Amendment 01 is to do the following: 1. To provide final responses to the questions received for the RFQ as part of the amendment. All other terms and conditions outlined in the RFQ remain unchanged.� No further questions will be answered. B). Questions and Responses: 1. Please confirm that you will accept other manufactured models besides Conviron? FDA Response: Please submit offer in accordance to the specifications, terms and conditions outlined in RFQ-FDA-1240351 to be considered responsive for this requirement. Please reference Section 1) A for detail list of specifications.
