- NOTICE TO OFFEROR(S) LCS Funded Requirement. Only registered business entity in Korean Government may submit a proposal or quote as applicable IAW Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). Local Korean source eligibility shall be determined by the Contracting Officer and may reject a proposal or quote if the entity is(are) determined as Non- Korean business entity. 1. General: The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles, materials, parts, and supervision to perform Inspection, Preventive Maintenance (PM), and On-Call Service of Paint Booth Equipment and Related Accessories located in�various facilities�of�8th Maintenance Squadron�as defined in this Solicitation. 2.Background: 2.1 Corrosion Control Facilities: The facilities have complex ventilation systems to ensure the facilities comply with applicable environmental, fire protection, and occupational health requirements. These systems remove paint particulates, solvent vapors, and hazardous air pollutants from the ambient area of aircraft maintainers. Repair and maintenance of the associated air handling equipment is specialized and required to ensure the paint booth facilities remain in proper running order to apply corrosion preventative coating systems in accordance with Air Force Instructions. The paint booth facilities generate air flow through the industrial areas to ensure hazardous vapors and particulates are removed and collected in the filters prior to the air exiting the booth to the environment. 2.2 8th Maintenance Squadron Maintenance Facilities: These facilities require up to date maintenance in order to comply with applicable environmental, fire protection, and occupational health requirements. Additionally, these equipment items are tasked in direct support of aircraft and support equipment operations at Kunsan Air Base. Losing this equipment would be detrimental to the base mission capabilities.
