- Description
- The Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Norfolk, VA is soliciting quotes, on behalf of the NOAA Fisheries Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) of the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). The Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) is seeking a Contractor to remove and replace 200� of existing fendering system along the west face of the bulkhead at the Woods Hole Laboratory.� The NMFS Laboratory is located at 166 Water Street, Woods Hole MA 02543.� This requirement is expected to result in a single award Firm-Fixed-Price contract.� The magnitude of the Project is between $250,000 and $500,000.� Site visits will be scheduled as identified in the solicitation.� The RFQ will be solicited as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. �The applicable NAICS Code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering, which has a corresponding size standard of $39.5 Million. �The solicitation and proposed fixed-price contract will be issued utilizing FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.� The Award will be made to the quoter whose quote meets all Specifications and solicitation requirements and is determined to be the best value, by an integrated assessment of price and other evaluation factors listed in the Request for Quotation (RFQ).� The anticipated award date is July/August 2021.� The solicitation will be available electronically approximately on or about June 2, 2021 via Contract Opportunities at beta.sam.gov (formerly known as FedBizops).� Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued.� It is incumbent upon vendors to monitor Beta.Sam.gov for the release of the RFQ, Statement of Work, and all subsequent amendments.� To be eligible for award, quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov; quoters must also obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number and provide it with the quote.� All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency.� For information concerning this acquisition, please forward inquiries via e-mail to Roberta Smith, Contract Specialist, at Roberta.h.smith@noaa.gov. It is the quoter's sole responsibility to ensure that any quote, to include any other email correspondence, transmitted to the specified Government representative(s) is received prior to the due date specified herein.�The quoters�are highly encouraged to contact the RFQ's specified Government representative prior to the RFQs date for receipt of quotes to ensure the Government receipt of the transmitted quote and to ensure quote eligibility.� Quotes received after the date and time specified in the RFQ may render it ineligible for consideration or evaluation.
