Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAR Subpart 13 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).� (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05.� (iv)� This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses.� The NAICS code is 115112 and the Small Business Size Standard is $8M.� The services to be performed in this contract include remove unwanted vegetation, defined as grass, weeds, and trees of wrong species from seedling beds. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, quality control and incidentals other than the items specified as Government-furnished, to perform all necessary work.� Weeding is typically performed between the months of May and August. This contract is for one year with the possibility of option year renewals. Location The project is located in Michigan�s Upper Peninsula, in the town of Watersmeet, on the Ottawa National Forest. The specific location is JW Toumey Nursery, USDA Forest Service, E23985 Old US 2 East, Watersmeet, MI 49969. Please see attached for full combined synopsis/solicitation document.� Vendors must have an active registration in sam.gov in order to submit an offer.� Obtaining a DUNS and registering in SAM are free of charge.�� Amendment 1 - sign the attached SF-30 and include it with your offer.� This amendment replaces the Schedule of Items with the attached updated Schedule of Items (SOI).� The LF for each round of weeding is estimated at 140,000 LF (not 70,000 LF).� Please use the updated schedule when submitting your offer.� The due date and time for offers remains unchanged.���
