- Description
- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Product: Parking Intercom System Wednesday, May 19, 2021 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office Central, Network Contracting Office 10, intends to enter a sole source procurement for a Parking Intercom System for John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R. St., Detroit, MI 48201. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Traffic & Safety Control System, Inc., 48584 Downing St., Wixom, MI, 48393-3501. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334290 and the Business Size Standard is 750 employees. It is the Government s belief that the Commend Parking Intercom System is the only parking intercom system that is fully compatible for replacing the current intercom system at the facility. This is a replacement to the parking intercom system that will work in conjunction with the current AmanoMcGann parking control system that is currently installed at the facility. The estimated award date is on or before Monday, May 24, 2021. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:30 PM Eastern Time, Monday, May 24, 2021. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
