- Veterans Heath Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this Notice of Intent to Sole Source in order to identify and potential sources that have the resources and capabilities to provide the service/ repair in accordance with the Statement of Work below. This service/repair requirement is for a existing system already in use at the Beckley VAMC located at 200 Veterans Avenue Beckley, WV 25801. Please send any questions and responses to Deborah.Reardon@va.gov All responses to this Intent to Sole Sources are due by 5/25/2021 STATEMENT OF WORK GE Optima 640 SPECT Nuclear Scanner repair Beckley VA Medical Center 200 Veterans Avenue Beckley, WV 25801 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Standard PO for repair of GE Optima 640 nuclear scanner. Unit has failing drive truck roller bearings. At the moment, the bearings are noisy, but will lead to future catastrophic failure. Drive truck assembly needs replaced; individual parts are not available. PROJECT OUTLINE 1. Replace Drive truck assembly 2. Calibrate, and verify operation 3. GE is the only vendor with access to this part for replacement. END OF STATEMENT OF WORK
