Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with EDX Wireless located at PO BOX 1547, Eugene, OR 97440 for the acquisition of software renewals ( and technical support.). This is a sole source procurement due to buying existing software renewals from EDX Wireless. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 ""Simplified Acquisition Procedures."" The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 511210. The business size standard is $41.5 million dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is May 21, 2021 at 1:00pm Eastern Time. All submissions should be submitted electronically to Faviola.mojzis@usdoj.gov.
