- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e) in order to conduct market research. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a guarantee to issue an RFQ in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued. This announcement is based on the best information available at this time and is subject to future amendment. No questions will be answered in response to this notice. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 485991 Special Needs Transportation. Small Business Size Standard $16.5 Million. OVERVIEW: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, and James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY and its three (3) Community-Based Clinics (CBOCs) located in Yonkers, Queens and White Plains respectively anticipate a requirement for 24-hour Wheelchair Van/Ambulette service. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain interest from contractors who would be capable of providing services at James J. Peters VA Medical Center and the below Facilities: James J. Peters VA Medical Center 130 West Kingsbridge Road Bronx, New York 10468 Yonkers Community Based Clinic 124 Main Street Yonkers, New York 10701 Queens Community Based Clinic 47-01 Queens Boulevard 3rd Floor Suite 301 Sunnyside, New York 11104 White Plains Community Based Clinic 23 South Broadway White Plains, New York 10601 ***SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)*** SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Please submit your response in accordance with the following instructions: Responses shall be no more than 3 pages in length. Detail your firm s capability of delivering the described services, ensuring you include responses to the Specific Response Items listed in the section below.
