PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL This notice is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, for the refurbish and repair of 96 (qty) lashing strap. This effort is to seek out qualified SMALL BUSINESS sources capable of providing services required by the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). All interested parties are encouraged to respond.� The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611.� The Government anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract for the required services. The Government is interested in receiving responses from all qualified sources capable of providing the services. Large and small companies that have experience with these services are encouraged to respond to this notice by 24 MAY 2021 at 12:00 PM EST. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information solicited. �The Government will not return any information submitted, nor will the Government compensate any company who responds to this Notice. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. Please see the attached Sources Sought Notice and draft PWS for details.
