Description
The purpose of this Presolicitation is incorporate the following changes: Type of lease required: Original Contract Opportunities announcement for RLP number 36C25721R00781 stated: The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs shall acquire a succeeding lease action for. Contract Opportunities announcement for RLP number 36C25721R00781 is hereby amended to read: The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) shall acquire a New Replacing Lease action for The purpose of the is Presolicitation is to clarify questions submitted by interested parties. There were 3 questions in reference to this Contract Opportunities announcement, please see below for both questions and answers: Question 1: Do you have an EXISTING CBOC in place that already meets your needs for which you will likely EXTEND the current lease? Or, is this OPP genuinely open for an opportunity to provide NEW space? Answer: This is a genuinely open opportunity to provide a new space. This is not for a succeeding lease, please see above. This will be further defined in the RLP Question 2: We are in receipt of the recently posted Sources Sought. Previously we submitted two sites for consideration under a previous solicitation. Do we need to re-submit or will this suffice as our expression of interest? Answer: This is a Contract Opportunities announcement for an RLP not a Sources Sought. You will have to respond In Accordance With (IAW) the RLP. Question 3: We were interested in proposing on the Palestine, TX CBOC solicitation you have posted to SAM.gov. I was confused by the attached document you have posted because it says it is a Request for Lease Proposal but does not have any of the typical RLP documents that accompany an RLP. Is this an RLP, or should it be a Sources Sought? The attached document looks more like a Sources Sought. If this is an RLP, when will you be releasing all of the documents that typically accompany an RLP: concept floor plan, 1364, 1217, ASR, lease, janitorial standards, etc. Answer: This will be further defined in the RLP. There was error with an internal VA system, delaying the release of the full RLP. The full RLP has been posted to SAM.GOV. Question 4: if the VA plans to stay at their current incumbent location? In the advertisement it refers to the lease as a succeeding lease so we just wanted to make sure that the intent was to not just stay at the same spot. Answer: VA is need of a New Replacing lease. This will be further defined in the RLP. Please see above.
