Description
DESCRIPTION: The National Institutes of Health - NIAAA intends to procure the services of a contractor to provide BioTek Cytation 5 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader as per specifications listed below.. The research lab on fibrotic disorder is recently established and in order to conduct research, multiple analytical instruments are required. Cytation 5 multimode reader is one of the advanced analytical and imaging tools. This multi-mode compact system could save space and also cost considering to purchase all potential analytical instruments. Importantly Cytation 5 has unique imaging capacity that could be utilized in live cell imaging and Histology imaging up to 60 X magnification. This system is also compatible for holding live cells in its chamber to perform kinetic measurements overnight to monitor live cell proliferations. This is an important feature for research where previously the Lab could not conduct overnight measurements due to the requirement of the personnel. Now this kind of measurements could be possible with cytation 5 multimode system. This imager will be used to conduct multiple critical assays and imaging in the lab. This instrument is needed to perform live cell imaging, histological slide scanning for imaging, image analysis, plate based assays such as absorbance, fluorescence, bio-luminescence measurements and will be used by multiple Lab members at different times and for various research. This proposed procurement is for a service for which the government does not intend to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis to the manufacturer but rather hereby encourages any vendor able to secure the same parts to provide their quotes.. In order to comply with the requirements in this solicitation number # HHSNCytationReader051721, the responses should be based on our interpretation of the general requirements provided below.
