Description

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration�s (FDA) Administration�s Winchester Engineering and Analytical Canter (WEAC)�has a need for preventive maintenance and repair�services on an Illumina MiSeq instrument (serial number M06960) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $20.5 million. This is a full and open requirement; there are no set-asides.
