- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The National Park Service requests information from small business vendors registered as small businesses under NAICS code 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5M or that meets that size standard for the NAICS code and can perform the work. Vendors interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement should send a Statement of Qualifications to Contract Specialist, James Bissaillon via email to james_bissaillon@nps.gov, no later than 2:00 PM CD on May 21, 2021. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the vendor. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. The Work consists of the following three phases: 1) Remove granite curb and paver stones paving system and clean 2) Reinstall granite curb and pavers on a mortar setting bed by ABA standards 3) Remove double row of upright arborvitae and dispose off-site 4) Backfill with topsoil and re-plant per specifications, finishing with double shredded hardwood mulch All work will be located at Herbert Hoover National Historic Site in West Branch, Iowa. The National Park Service anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Period of Performance: 87 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed Paper copies of this announcement will not be provided.
