- Description
- The Department of State is considering an Armed Conflict Location & Events Data Project also known as ACLED. The contract will harness data analytics for systematic, reliable data on incidents of political violence and political disorder for all countries in the world, especially those experiencing or at risk of fragility, conflict, and instability.� Systematic data is collected according to a transparent, verified methodology so that it can be compared across countries and contexts.� Systematic data is required for robust quantitative analysis and trend analysis.� This data must be categorized, subnational and released on a timely basis with minimal lag.� For trend analysis, Department of State requires data for at least 36 months historically and with regular updates moving forward. The project will be implemented using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 5182310 � Data Processing, Hosting & Related Services.
