Description
The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System Readjustment Counseling Service currently leases 4,200 net usable square feet (NUSF) of space at 450 Carillon Parkway, Suite 150, in St. Petersburg, Florida as an Administrative Center. The Readjustment Counseling Service Lease expires on January 23, 2024. The VA intends to continue occupancy in accordance with (IAW) authority outlined in GSAR 570.402 Succeeding Leases. However, the VA is conducting a competition for alternative space and will relocate if potential offerors can show the cost advantages of relocation to the Government. The cost of moving, alterations, and other factors will be considered when determining whether to relocate. Offered space can be on no more than one floor and shall provide 4,200 NUSF of space. On-site parking for 12 vehicles is required, of which at least 3 spaces must be ADA compliant. A full-service lease for up to 20 years will be considered. Proposed Property shall not be located within the 100-year flood plain. Net usable square feet do not include such areas as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules and public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. To be considered, space must be within or bordering/facing the delineated area as follows: North: Ulmerton Road (State Road 688) South: 62nd Ave North East: 66th St. North West: Dr. MLK Jr St. North To be included in initial considerations, interested offerors shall address ALL of the following when responding to this advertisement/announcement. Please submit via email: 1. Proposed Property address with a map showing property within the delineated area. 2. Name, phone number and email address of Property Owner. Note, if responding and you are not the property owner, i.e. broker, provide written statement from property owner (owner letterhead) authorizing you to represent the owner. 3. Documentation evidencing that proposed property is outside the 100-year flood plain. 4. Documentation delineating the cost advantages to the Government for relocating to proposed space. 5. Documentation delineating offerors ability to meet all the Governments requirements identified in this advertisement/announcement. 6. Amount of space offered. 7. Cost, i.e. $/NUSF. Identify base rent cost figure and operating cost figure, together these figures equal the total NUSF cost. 8. Number of parking spaces. Note, the above figures are minimums, there is no maximum. 9. Date space is available. 10. Other pertinent information. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties meeting the above requirements.
