- Updates: 05/12/2021 - 1) Solicitation amendment #1 has been uploaded, please review ""Solicitation - Amendment 1 - �FA282321R00220001"" which provides the notice: ***Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offer or for any costs. Proposal shall be valid until 31 December 2021. 2) Attachment 5 Section L has been revised, please review the updated ""Attachment 5 Section L v2 - 12 May 2021"" which clarifies the conflicting guidance between the SF1442 and Section L 2.2.2. The SF1442 contained the correct information and Section L has been revised to remove the Bid Guarantee requirement. 3) Site visit attendance roster has been uploaded, please review ""FA282321R0022 - Bldg 1206 Confirmed Attendance List."" 05/04/2021 - Site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 12th, at 1300 CST. This is the earliest and the only one that has been planned at this time. If this time and date does not work for your company, please e-mail kangsu.suh.1@us.af.mil with the subject line ""FA2823-21-R-0022 Cannot Attend May 12th Site Visit"" and provide alternate dates and times within the solicitation and Q&A deadline.� FA2823-21-R-0022 Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement to Replace Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression, Bldg. 1206 on Eglin AFB, FL.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of 16.5M. Statement of Magnitude is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000.� This�is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competitive acquisition utilizing a best value source selection process and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. This project includes, but is not limited to the following: Installing a new ultra high speed fire suppression system in the indicated high hazard zones in the seven (7) explosive production bays and an overhead wet pipe sprinkler system in eight (8) bays in Building 1206. The project includes a new fire pump located remotely and the associated piping and electrical upgrades to support the new system, and incidental related work. All work shall be performed indicated in the contract documents; Statement of Work, Drawing, and Specification.�The performance period is 180 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP).� The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the specifications. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number; recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
