Description

The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB), Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to MellingMedical, 658 South Columbus Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 under the authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source is reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. The requirement is for the Oculus Pentacam HR corneal topography system. This requirement will be for Irwin Army Community Hospital located at Fort Riley, Kansas 66442. Award will be on or about 18 June 2021.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339115, Ophthalmic Good Manufacturing. The estimated delivery schedule on or about 19 July 2021. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 Employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the Oculus Pentacam HR corneal topography system. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. A solicitation will not be published.
