- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS) intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 Competition Requirements and FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. After Action Medical and Dental Supply, LLC 4444 Decatur Blvd Suite 100 Mooresville, IN 46241 The objective of this sole source award is for a firm fixed price contract with a base year to acquire forty-six (46) new ZOLL R Series Plus Defibrillators. The VAWNYHS requires a full fleet replacement of all defibrillators currently in use in the facility. The fleet replacement is required due to the old fleet approaching end-of-life. The ZOLL defibrillators is specific to one exclusive SDVOSB distributor, After Action Medical and Dental Supply. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels. Forty-Six (46) R-Series Plus Defibrillators Forty-Six (46) SurePower Recharge Lithium Ion Battery Pack Forty-Six (46) OneStep 3 lead ECG Cables Forty-Six (46) OneStep cable managers Forty-Six (46) Defib Mentor familiarization aids Forty-Six (46) OneStep Pacing Cables Forty-Six (46) Masimo Pulse Oximety sensors and cables Forty-Six (46) NIBP reusable cuffs and cables Forty-Six (46) CAPNOSTAT 5 Mainstream CO2 Sensors Forty-Six (46) see through CPR filters List of Products: The NAICS Code for this requirement is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing and the size standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes; however all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. All capability statements must be received by no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on May 14, 2021. Responses to be submitted to Morgan Weeks, Contracting Officer at Morgan.Weeks1@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
