Description
STATEMENT OF WORK 619-21-2-5243-0334 OBJECTIVE: The objective of this contract is to provide the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) with a contractual obligation with qualified contractor to complete the following work. This contract shall not require access to a VA system or VA sensitive information (e.g., system administrator privileged access to a VA system, or contractor systems or processes that utilize VA sensitive information). SITE VISIT: Site visit is encouraged and should be scheduled with engineering supervisor POC 334-649-9078 CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILTY: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary for execution of this contract. Contractor shall be responsible for the following: Disconnect and remove old evaporator, condenser, line set and electrical wiring for cooler number 1 and 2 located in bldg. 4 1E kitchen Set in place new evaporator in coolers and set new condensing unit on rack located in mechanical room. Run new refrigerant line sets and reconnect to existing electrical wiring. Pressure test, evacuate, start system up and charge with refrigerant All work shall be done in accordance with NFPA 70 NEC standards as well as VHA directive 1028 and follow proper lock-out tag-out procedures under OSHA requirements part 1910 subpart J (the control of hazardous energy 1910.147) and follow all other federal, state and local HVAC and electrical and safety standards. . Weekend work if needed will be scheduled with COR 48 hrs. in advance. WARRANTY: Contractor shall warrant that the equipment shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship arising from normal usage for a period of one year.
