Description

The solicitation is for customized life insurance service to the locally engaged staff of the U.S. Embassy in Harare, Zimbabwe. Insurance services for an estimate of 275 locally engaged staff (LES) staff shall include: Natural Death Accidental or Work-Related Death/Disability Total Disability Partial Disability Funeral Benefit The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price with economic adjustment type contract.� The anticipated performance is for one base period of twelve months and four one-year option periods, at the option of the Government. Prospective offerors must be able to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements for operating in Zimbabwe. Pursuant to FAR 5.207 contractors interested in participating are required to register in www.sam.gov
