- Final Pre-solicitation Synopsis W912HY21B00013 The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for �����FY21 USACE Galveston District, Sabine-Neches Waterway (SNWW) Maintenance Dredging, Jefferson County, Texas Pipeline Dredging, Deep Draft Construction. �Full and Open Competition. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Schedule 1 - dredging areas along the Neches River, MARAD Anchorage Basin, and MARAD Fleet Access Slip. Schedule No.1 dredging includes approximately 3,000,000 cubic yards utilizing Placement Areas 12 ,13,14,16,17, 23, and 24.� Pipeline Length averages between 1mile to 3.5 miles. Option work includes dredging PA Canal Junction Area, Taylors Bayou area, and USCG Boat Basin.� Estimate dredge volume is approximately 2,000,000 cubic yards utilizing Placement Areas 5 and 9.� Pipeline Length averages between 1mile to 2.5 miles. USCG Boat Basin � Sabine Pass area. Estimated dredge volume of 46,000CY.� Will require dredging shallower depths and under a Boat House structure. 2. Completion Time for Schedule No. 1 for this project is estimated at 201 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. Seven options are included. Completion time for the option work if awarded varies from 20 days to 75 calendar days. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in an amount to be determined for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. 3. The solicitation issued will be a firm-fixed price contract award.� Estimated magnitude for this effort is estimated between $5,000,000.00 - $10,000,000.00. 4. Bonding Requirements - The Contractor will be required to provide the Performance and Payment Bonds within 2 calendar days after award.� The contractor shall begin work within 10 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. 5. Furnish pre-award documents within 2 working days after Bid Opening. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response to the solicitation. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price.� This solicitation is subject to the availability of funds.� The Solicitation is a FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.� The Solicitation will be issued on or about MAY 2021.� Response date on or about JUN 2021.
