Description
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) John F. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) plans to issue the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following commercial service: Fire services at Ames Research Center, Kennedy Space Center, Stennis Space Center, Wallops Test Facility, and White Sands Test Facility.� This notice is related to the Sources Sought Notice 80KSC021NFSC01L and Draft RFP No. 80KSC021R0026-DRAFT. Requirements under the NFSC include fire operations and firefighting, emergency medical services-paramedic (advanced life support), fire protection, fire prevention inspection program, fire services training, and fire investigations. This acquisition is a competitive 8(a) small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code and size standard is 561990, All Other Support Services, and $12 million, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFP 80KSC021R0026 is on or about June 7, 2021 with an anticipated proposal due date on or about July 6, 2021. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Agency. A NFSC website has been established at https://procurement.ksc.nasa.gov/nfsc. Interested parties may access the bidder's library and other information using the aforementioned link. NASA FAR Supplement clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. Only registered attendees will be able to attend.� The Presolicitation Conference is open to all potential offerors interested in the NFSC acquisition opportunity.��The purpose of Presolicitation Conference is to: Promote competition by providing industry a better understanding of the upcoming acquisition Presentation will�provide information about the NFSC locations and acquisition Provide an early opportunity for the Government to introduce preliminary aspects of this acquisition Presentation length is approximately 1-hour No questions will be answered during the conference.
