- Description
- The US Coast Guard, C5I Service Center,. Intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to AGFA US CORP., 10 South Academy Street, Greenville, SC 29601. �This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. AGFA is the only source capable of providing the required software, hardware, installation, and training that is required. The USCG purchased radiology equipment at five (5) medical facilities from AGFA US CORP.� The AGFA components at the five (5) medical facilities are all running on an outdated version of Windows software that must be updated to remain compliant with Cybersecurity policies The AGFA equipment is proprietary and can only be upgraded by AGFA US CORP. Description of Supplies and Services: The requirement is to upgrade legacy AGFA workstations at Coast Guard Clinics and Sickbays with radiology capability to Cybersecurity compliant hardware and software: Provide all hardware and system software Upgrade and install the proposed AGFA Computed Radiography (CR) and Direct Radiography (DR) Perform system set-up and image database transfer to new workstation Connect to Valor Network Hardware/Software physical characteristics: Automate Task Processor (ATP) CR MD1.0 General Set 35X43 Standard quality wide touch monitor HP PS/2 Keyboard CR 15-X Digitizer NX Premium-EL: starter pack NX Optiview NX-MW21� HP RP5810 RAID1 WIN10 PC Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. ET on May 18, 2021. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to Angela.D.Sadowski@uscg.mil with solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
