- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO4) intends to sole source a contract for the full service and maintenance of a government owned Monarch Platform for Bronchoscopy at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), University Drive Campus, 4100 Allequippa St., Pittsburgh, PA 15240. All work is to be completed in accordance with statement of work and schedule. This sole source contract will be solicited and negotiated with Auris Health, Inc., 150 Shoreline Dr., Redwood City, CA 94065 under the authority of FAR 8.405.6 Only One Source. The Monarch platform is a robotic-assisted system that provides bronchoscopy visualization of and access to patient airways for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The reliable and accurate operation of this equipment at all times is considered critical to the health of patients. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is $22.0 Million. Interested vendors that can meet this requirement, may identify their interest and capability, and respond to this notice by 05/12/2021 by 4:00 PM EST. No solicitation will be made available. This is not a request for quotations. All information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be sent via email to the Contracting Officer at cynthia.grygier@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Department will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Auris Health.
