- The Lake Mead Major Acquisition Buying Office, on behalf of The National Park Service (NPS) Lake Mead National Recreation Area, intends to award to De Nora Water Technologies, LLC. of Colmar, PA on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) � Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to procure a professional service for the disposal and replacement of 260 cubic feet of adsorptive media contained within two treatment tanks at Cottonwood Cove Water Treatment Plant. De Nora Water Technologies is currently responsible for all work under warranty and holds exclusive distributorship rights of the system�s equipment. Statutory authority 41 USC 253(c)(1) � only one responsible source � is applicable. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 221310 Water Supply and Irrigation Systems with a small business size standard of $30 million in average annual receipts. The NPS anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order to De Nora Water Technologies for this requirement within one week from the posting of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties that believe they can satisfy the requirements listed above for the NPS may identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience with this specific system that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to Michelle_Bennett@nps.gov with a subject line that reads RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO DE NORA. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted so that they are received at Michelle_Bennett@nps.gov no later than May 11, 2021 at 2:00PM Pacific Time (PT).
