Description
The Contractor shall provide one (1) Laser Doppler Velocimeterer (LDV) for fluid particle speed distribution measurement, one (1) LDV processing engine and associated sensor drive that meets the following minimum requirements: �� The LDV system shall come with all necessary hardware and software program for the measurement of fluid particle speed distribution. �� The LDV system shall be able to measure fluid particles, such as water, alcohol, glycol, at speeds from -1m/s to 100m/s linear speed, 1- dimensional flow. �� The LDV system shall be able to measure the speeds of fluid particle size diameters between the range of one (1) micron to fifty (50) microns. �� The LDV system shall include a laser probe standoff distance of least five (5) inches. �� The LDV system shall measure with an uncertainty of less than or equal to zero point one percent (0.1%). �� The LDV system shall contain a laser probe (sensor and emitter) that is smaller than eight (8) inches in length, and smaller than two (2) inches in diameter. �� The LDV system shall be fully functional upon delivery with no calibration necessary. �� The LDV system shall contain a high speed detector that is capable of operating at 100 Megahertz or higher. �� The LDV system shall include one (1) Remote training session available via internet or telecommunication device, during Normal work hours, which are from 7:45 A.M. through 4:15 P.M, Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays. The Contractor shall provide shipping and installation to Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland.
