Description

Pre-solicitation/Synopsis: The Regional Contracting Office-Marine Corps Installations West, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton (MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN) has a requirement to obtain Non-Tactical Vehicle (NTV) Equipment Maintenance Services. The Government non-tactical equipment to be serviced will include, but is not limited to, forklifts, warehouse tractors, low speed electric carts, warehouse sweepers, trailers, and similar Southwest Region Fleet Transportation (SWRFT) support equipment. This requirement also includes services for equipment checks, cleaning, refueling, and minor repair tasks. This effort supports the MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN SWRFT division, which consists of seven (7) sites throughout California and Arizona. These SWRFT sites are located in the following counties: San Diego County, CA; San Bernardino County, CA; Mono County, CA; and Yuma County, AZ. � The period of performance is expected to begin on or about 1 September 2021, with a one year base period, four possible one-year option periods, with an option to extend services up to 6 months in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. The anticipated procurement will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, utilizing task orders with Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract line item numbers (CLINs). This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation for this requirement is scheduled to be released via Contract Opportunities (formerly FedBizOpps (FBO)) at https://beta.sam.gov/ on or around�27 May 2021.� This is not a request for responses. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. This procurement is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance), with a small business size standard of $8.0M. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database.
