- Page 4 of 4 The Spokane VAMC is seeking Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), or Small Business sources capable of meeting the requirement listed below. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Minimum Salient Characteristics: Repositioning/Transfer sheets: Must be compatible for use with Liko ceiling lift systems with either 2 or 4 pt. spreader bars. Must have a safe working load of 200-363kg (600lbs) since they are also a full body lift sling. Must have a width of 36 1/2 and length of 86 5/8 . Machine wash and dry capacity of up to but not to exceed 176 F. Material of 100% polyester (with Antistatic yarn) to support a safe microclimate feature to reduce heat/moisture and reduce risk of pressure ulcers. Patient surface must be single layer, completely seamless patient surface area to reduce risk of high-pressure points on the patient. Combining the benefits of a sling with bed linen. 3 loop straps to provide lift height alternatives, precise equal pressure when turning or lifting patient up in bed. Loop straps must be a soft polyester fabric and not plastic which can tear patient skin when placing under patient or using. Slings: Must be compatible for use with Liko ceiling lift systems with either 2 or 4 pt. spreader bars. Must have a safe working load of 200-363 kg (600lbs). Machine wash and dry capacity of up to but not to exceed 176 F. 3 loop straps to provide lifting position changes from lying or sitting positions. Loop straps must be a soft polyester fabric and not plastic which can tear patient skin when placing under patient or using. Sling material must be a soft polyester fabric smooth to touch to prevent skin tears during use. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339999. Any SDVOSB, VOSB, or Small Business firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this product must provide product specifications, performance, and delivery information by notifying the Contract Specialist no later than 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, May 11, 2021. Notification shall be e-mailed to Ladell Holmes, at ladell.holmes@va.gov. Any vendor who responds to this Notice must provide credentials to perform the requirement as outlined in the below scope.
