Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Contracting Office (Code 440) intends to issue a fixed price award to a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source. An award will be made on or about 28 May 2021 to Bermingham Controls, Inc., 11144 Business Circle, Cerritors CA 90703. The period of performance will be 1 June 2021 through 1 August 2021. This requirement is achievable by only one source. Bermingham Controls, Inc, is the only source with proprietary design drawings, specifications, components and expertise required to perform the necessary maintenance on the Leslie Valves. NAICS code: 332911 PCS- J048 This notice of intent is not a request for quotes: however, interested parties may submit technical capabilities responding to this requirement no later than 10 May 2021, 10:00 AM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR LESLIE VALVES. Documents submitted, will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contract Specialist, Robert Centeno via email at robert.j.centeno@navy.mil or to Contracting Officer Remo Dela Cruz at remodino.delacruz@navy.mil, and c440.commandserv.fct@navy.mil. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award
