- Cable Television Services - AT FCI Fairton a federal correctional facility located at 655 Fairton Millville Rd, Fairton New Jersey, 08320. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 15B20421Q00000009 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Solicitation is for the furnishing all equipment, materials, labor, installation, and provide continuous cable services for the incarcerated population at FCI Fairton during the contract period. See the Specifications attachment included with the solicitation posting for the complete requirements of the work. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and two (2) one (1) year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the government. The solicitation will be available approximately on or about May 4, 2021. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration�s (GSA) Federal Business Opportunities website at www.beta.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides download instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments, will also be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for continuously monitoring this website to ensure that they have the most recent information about this proposed contract action. The NAICS code for this requirement is 515210 with a corresponding small business size standard of $41.5 million. IMPORTANT: Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. In order to qualify for award, your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the business size standard specified above. Terms of delivery are F.O.B. destination to: FCI Fairton, 655 Fairton-Millville Road, Fairton, New Jersey 08320. Evaluation Factors are price and past performance. Venders who submit a quote concurs that delivery dates will be met, unless otherwise noted. Vendors should not quote on items which cannot be delivered for any reason. Past performance: A record of poor performance due to failure to deliver items within the expected delivery time period, requests to remove an item from a signed purchase order on previous awards, requests to disregard or cancel a signed purchase order, or poor quality may result in a poor performance rating. FCI Fairton will award to vendors that have a high past performance record IAW FAR 13.106-2(4) (ii) regardless of the quotes with the lowest price. Site Visit: Coordination for any site visit will be scheduled through FCI Fairton Supervisor of Recreation Mr. Nicholas Ferguson at (856)-453-4216, N1FERGUSON@BOP.GOV. The alternate point of contact will be Daniel Shaw d3shaw@bop.gov. For coordination, please write or email both Mr. Ferguson and Mr. Shaw to ensure continuous communication. All site visitors will be required to complete a criminal history background check through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) before arrival to comply with the Federal Bureau of Prisons security requirements. Mr. Ferguson and/or Mr. Shaw will provide the NCIC check forms. Any site visit will be completed prior to 1:00PM, EST, May 17, 2021. Quote must include acknowledgment of amendments, if any. Expected award date is on or before June 1, 2021. A Notice of Award will be created and posted on beta.sam.gov. Vendors will have 3 business days to sign and return purchase orders or awarded items may be issued to another vendor.
