Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to The Chudy Group, LLC DBA TCGRx, N1671 Powers Lake Road, Powers Lake, WI 53159. The base period of performance for contract award will be June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022 with provision of four (4) option years to be performed at the VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) in Fresno, CA. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS Code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance (SBA Size Standard $22 Million). This requirement is to provide a service and maintenance contract for the FastPak pill packer. This includes providing all necessary labor, consumable parts and non-consumable parts to ensuring the pill packer is operating correctly to the manufacturer s specifications. It also will provide all available upgrades and annual software licenses. All work shall be performed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified technicians authorized by TCGRx. TCGRx is the only known provider as the equipment and software are proprietary. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due no later than May 10, 2021 by 10:00 AM (HST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Cindy.Smith@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
