Markey Survey Request MARKET SURVEY FOR PRODUREMENT OF JET ENGINES NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS AND SUBMISSIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST. Contact information below. This is a Market Survey to attain information, comments, and capabilities from industry in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy that will aid in the formation of an acquisition strategy and award for the procurement of Jet Engines.� Referenced the attached SOW for more information. The responses to this Market Survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this Market Survey. Therefore any cost associated with the Market Survey submission is solely at the interested vendors� expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined.� The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside (all or part of the procurement) for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or other eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 336412, Aircraft Engine and Engine Part Manufacturing. Background: FAA Flight Program Operations Operates Challenger 600 Series aircraft. These aircraft are used to meet the FAA requirements to fly transportation, flight inspection, Research and Development and Training missions. FAA Require two (2) General Electric CF34-3A1 Jet engines. FAA has already accomplished some market research, and we have found difficulty in locating these engines in the market. FAA needs assistance in the location of the engines for procurement. Vendors shall address the following 3 components within their submittal: 1. Company Information: Please provide your - DUNS number, small business status (woman-owned, veteran-owned, etc.) - Point of contact, to include: name, title, telephone number, business address, and email address - Size and type of services provided on previous contracts - Number of years in business 2. Requirements (reference attached SOW): ��������� Two (2) General Electric CF34-3A1 Jet engines. ��������� Engine must be within 100 hours of a fresh overhaul ��������� Quick Engine Change (QEC) equipped to neutral (Left vs. Right) ��������� Engines Shipped to the FAA Facility in Oklahoma City (MMAC) 3. Submission Time: All responses to this Market Survey should be received by 4:00p.m. Central Standard Time, Friday, May21, 2021 electronically to the Contracting Specialist using the following email address: neil.s.amaral@faa.gov. Please include �MARKET SURVEY RESPONSE� in the subject line of your email. Information provided will not be released however please appropriately mark PROPRIETARY on any of your documentation submitted as necessary. Please be reminded that this Market Survey is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire parts or services. The FAA will not reimburse your organization for any direct, indirect costs or other charges that arise as a result of submission in response to this Market Survey and the FAA�s subsequent use of such information.
