- Update: Announcement of Industry Day for IWRP 2 on 20 May 2021 The IWRP Solicitation Industry Day for Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and NIWC Pacific Information Warfare Research Project 2, Other Transaction (OT) (N65236-21-R-0014). NIWCs Atlantic and Pacific will hold an Industry Day for the Other Transaction under 10 U.S.C. 2371b for the Information Warfare Research Project 2 (IWRP 2). The event will be held virtually via MS Teams on Thursday, May 20th, 2021 from 1000am EST to 130pm EST. In the afternoon, One-on-One sessions will be scheduled on a first come-first serve basis with interested parties for fact finding and market research. The purpose of this Industry Day is to: 1) improve the understanding of the Government's anticipated OT strategy; 2) improve the understanding of the Government's technical scope areas; 3) provide an opportunity for questions and answers regarding the opportunity, and 4) receive feedback for areas of IWRP 2 OT consideration. NIWC Atlantic will release a Program Announcement (PA) for the OT through the SPAWAR E-Commerce website (https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil/) and SAM.beta.gov. The IWRP 2 Solicitation Industry Day will include presentations from NIWC Atlantic and Pacific technical personnel and NIWC Atlantic and Pacific representatives. There will be a question and answer session during the Industry Day. All questions and answers submitted before, during and after the Industry Day will be recorded and posted to NAVWAR E-Commerce under the OT PA in the Solicitation section (https://e- commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil/). Additionally, all presentation material used at the Industry Day will be made available to prospective offerors via NAVWAR E-Commerce in the same section. We recommend prospective offerors subscribe to the solicitation (PA) on NAVWAR E-Commerce. The One-on-One sessions will be conducted to assist the Government in fact finding for the OT opportunity. Firms that manage consortiums, individual firms that have experience with consortium OTs or other interested parties are welcome to sign up. There will be six Q&A/information exchange sessions and will be filled on a first come- first serve basis. We will accept three consortium management firms and three other interested parties. Attendance at this Industry Day is NOT a requirement and in no way prohibits any company from submitting a proposal in response to any forthcoming solicitation. The Industry Day for this requirement will only address information related to the IWRP 2 opportunity identified: N65236-21-R-0014.
