Description

Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS) plans to negotiate a single award, two-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to Black Hills Ammunition, Inc. (BHA), a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB). This requirement is sole source in accordance with Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 2304(c)(5) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-5(a)(2)(i) � Authorized or Required by Statute, and applied by FAR 6.302-5(b)(7) � Sole source awards under the WOSB Program. The contract will contain two one-year ordering periods for Fiscal Years (FYs) 21-23 for the purchase of XM1162 .338 Norma Magnum (NM) ammunition. The Contractor shall be responsible for manufacturing, testing, packaging, and delivery of .338 Norma Magnum (NM) XM1162�Armor Piercing Ammunition in accordance with contract requirements and the Technical Data Package (TDP). The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 332993, Ammunition (Except Small Arms) Manufacturing.� THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)/solicitation: Responses to this announcement are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP/solicitation or an award. This notice should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on or about fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this announcement.
