Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Florida intends to issue a firm fixed price, sole source, purchase order to NAG LLC Doing Business As (DBA) Naval Automation Group, 2511 Walmer Ave, Norfolk, VA 23513 for 16 each ruggedized embedded computers part number 1001RS0A01 A and 16 each Solid State Drive Assemblies part number 1001RS0040. The parts are currently manufactured by NAG LLC and are already in use for the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Navigation (C4N) System Baseline Configuration 4 (SBC4) Keypad, Video and Navigation (KVN) system. �This purchase is not suitable for full and open competition for the following reasons.� NSWC PCD is the design authority for the LCAC C4N systems. These systems are part of the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). The U.S. Navy is in the process of upgrading legacy craft. Craft configured with System Baseline Configuration Two (SBC2) will be technology refreshed with System Baseline Configuration Four (SBC4). NAG LLC, as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM),� is the only company that makes these slightly modified commercial items that are compliant with the Government owned SBC4 Technical Data Package (TDP). The items being procured were tested and evaluated against the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) technical requirements as provided on the LCAC C4N System Baseline Configuration 4 (SBC4) product specification during the product's initial prototyping and evaluation phase. No other source for these items currently exists. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Office, 100 Vernon Ave., Panama City, FL 32407 by 16 weeks after award of the order. NAICS 334111.
