- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a LIMITED SOURCE procurement action with Entech Signs for the procurement of the following items: CLIN 0001: Removal of Two (2) existing electronic message centers Firm Fixed Price Provide all necessary tools, equipment, labor and materials to remove and dispose of two (2) existing electronic message centers in accordance with original manufacturer recommendation. CLIN 0002: Installation of Two (2) NEW electronic message centers Firm Fixed Price Provide all necessary tools, equipment, labor and materials to install two (2) existing electronic message centers and in accordance with original manufacturer recommendation. CLIN 0003: Back Covers for Marquees Firm Fixed Price Contractor will provide a Back Cover for each Marquee. CLIN 0004: Training Firm Fixed Price Contractor will provide one (1) programming training for up to 10 personnel. This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 8.405-6: Limiting Source. This requirement is being conducted to support an immediate need for services to remove the old existing marquees and install the two (2) new marquees to include providing a custom back cover, additional structural support, all necessary network/data equipment to allow access and programming capability of the new message center across the stand-alone network, and conduct a system calibration check on each newly installed electronic message center to include user training.� The marquees were originally purchased from Entech Signs and per FAR Part 8.405-6 (a)(1)(i)(C) �The new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures�, it is logical to conclude that had the services been included in the original procurement, the same vendor would have provided the best price and value to the Government.� This is a notice of intent to award as a LIMITED SOURCE procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
