1.0 Sources Sought for best value REMANUFACTURED OR NEW FORD 6.4 LITER TURBO DIESEL�ENGINE. (PART #: 8C3Z-6007-AARM) based on shortest delivery time and lowest price.� See statement of work (SOW)�for complete engine specifications 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS is 423120, �Motor Vehicle Supplies and New Parts Merchant� with a small business size standard of 500 employees, or 333618 �Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing�, with a small business size standard of 1500 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women owned small business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS codes. 1.2 Attached is a statement of work describing the requirement, and below is the Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company�s capability. 1.3 If the Government decides to conduct procurement as a result of the market research, a separate pre-solicitation synopsis of that procurement will be posted to FEDBIZOPS. Interested companies are requested to submit their delivery schedule and price to provide item(s) in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW) to Malmstrom AFB. 1.4 Please note that we cannot return your submissions to you. 1.5 Small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research.
