- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Harare, Zimbabwe will launch the solicitation on the https://beta.sam.gov/ website when it is available.� The requirement is for mobile telephone services. �The U.S. Embassy is using 800 lines for official purposes. �The Contractor shall provide complete mobile telephones services for the U.S. Embassy of Harare, Zimbabwe. �Services provided shall include: Calls within Zimbabwe� International Calls International Roaming Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) SMS Messaging Voice Mail 24-hour Customer Service Detailed Billing of Calls Made Data Services All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. � Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price. �The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussions. The anticipated performance is for one base period of twelve months and four one-year option periods, at the option of the Government. The option to exercise these option years is unilateral decision by the U.S. Embassy. Prospective offerors must be able to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements for operating in Zimbabwe including Postal and Telecommunication Regulatory of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ). The solicitation (SF1449), all attachments, and all amendments will be published for viewing and printing from the beta.sam.gov website. �Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the beta.sam.gov website for the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation.� All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov �prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ The response date in this synopsis is not firm; please see the Request for Proposal for the actual closing date of the solicitation. � Questions will not be accepted at this time. However, interested parties may submit questions regarding this requirement after the solicitation is posted. �
