- Amendment 01 - Corrected RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Auke Bay Laboratories has a requirement for clerical support services to assist with the Arctic Integrated Ecosystem Project reporting requirements to external funding agencies. The work involved in this contract must be performed accurately, on a timely basis and must closely follow established protocols, which will be provided to the contractor at time of Award.� The established protocols are business standards regarding policy, process, quality, and timelines expected in the process dealing with reporting and documentation on data being made publically available. This will require a variety of office support tasks which will include (but is not limited to) formatting, data management, report tracking and status, creating templates, administrative management, and collating information from multiple principal investigators. Reporting tasks are necessary to ensure compliance with external funding agencies and are part of agreements when funds are awarded for specific scientific projects. These reports must be timely, accurate and each requires a specialized format that is agency specific. The performance of these tasks is routine and repetitive, and the Contractor must be able to follow agency reporting protocols and not require daily direction.� Tasks include formatting, data management, report tracking, submission and status, creating templates, administrative management, and collating information from multiple principal investigators. Report submission Schedule: January 31, 2021 (or soon after), March 30, 2021, May 20, 2021, and template creation for final report which is required by May 15, 2021. Services are to be performed off site by one key personnel who will be in communication with the Project Lead, with the following knowledge and experience: Knowledge and Experience with reporting scientific findings to multiple agencies via specific reporting formats. Experience managing large scale research projects with multiple Principal Investigators (>20) from an administrative role. Time management, organization proficiency, file management, and good communication skills. Basic clerical skills to include proficiency in operation of a computer, Microsoft word, Excel, Xerox, Scan, Adobe, and telephones. Experience disseminating research results to communities in the western Arctic region Offer should include past/present contract or employment information that supports the knowledge and experience of key personal, as listed above.� Further explanation and examples should be provided to show Knowledge and Experience in each listed above. Offer should state how many hours a week and at what schedule they can work.� Offers must be able to work at least 25 hours per week to be considered in this solicitation.� We anticipate services will be between 25-40 hours each week. The period of performance is immediately, within one day of Award (anticipated end of January 2021) through May 31, 2020 �See attached Request For Quote and Statement of Work for more information.� �All interested concerns must submit a quotation and documentation demonstrating the qualifications to provide services as described above within fifteen (15) days of the publication date of this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation has been issued. A firm-fixed order is anticipated to be issued in within 24 hours of closing date and time.
