Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to issue Solicitation No. N00167-21-R-0005, Propulsor Support Hardware. The Government anticipates release of this solicitation to be in Jan 2021. This requirement is to provide support hardware and related services, including handling fixtures, shipping materials, testing and inspection, fasteners, and miscellaneous hardware. The NAICS code will be 336611, size standard 1250 employees. The anticipated PSC codes will be�2010 Ship and Boat Propulsion�Components, AC22 R&D � Defense System: Ships (Applied Research/Exploratory Development), AC34 R&D�� Defense Systems: Ship (Engineering Development), AC35 R&D � Defense System: Ship (Operations�Systems Development), AD22 R&D � Defense Other: Services (Applied Research/Exploratory Development), AD24 R&D � Defense Other: Services (Engineering Development), H230 Equipment and Material Testing ��Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment, H320 Inspection � Ship and Marine Equipment and J020� Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment, Ship and Marine Equipment. The PSC will be defined at�the order level. The result of this solicitation will be Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with an ordering period of five years.�The Government expects that some businesses (large and small) may be able to perform a portion of the SOW, but not necessarily every task of the SOW. Vendors are encouraged to enter into the BPA even if the vendor can only perform some of the tasks described in the SOW.�Interested firms may view and/or download the solicitation, attachments, and�any amendments only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO)�website at www.fbo.gov once it is posted. It is the prospective Offeror's�responsibility to monitor the FBO website for changes to this notice,�announcements, or amendments to the solicitation.�This pre-solicitation notice is for the purpose of informing industry that the�Propulsor Demonstration Hardware solicitation will be posted to FBO.gov.�This notice is not a request for proposal. Proposals submitted as a result of�this pre-solicitation notice will not be accepted and the Government will not�reimburse for a�proposal/response provided. Please note that no Government response will be provided to questions/comments submitted in response to this notice.
