- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/ The NOAA Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) needs our existing paint booth converted into a powder coating booth.�� The chosen vendor must convert the paint booth into a cartridge collector style system using collector modules and cartridge filters.� The collected powder must then be collected into a removable fluidized bed. The entire system must meet all OSHA compliance mandates. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. � Solicitation number NM-AN2200-21-00438 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-02. This acquisition is a full and open competition�under NAICS code 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance; the small business size standard is $7.5M. Line items are as follows: CLIN 1: CONVERT EXISTING PAINT BOOTH INTO A POWDER COATING BOOTH PER THE STATEMENT OF NEED. � Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: - Determine the appropriate SCFM and static pressure - Retro fit (install) the entire collector system into the current paint booth structure.� The current � paint booth dimensions are as follows:� � -- Spray Booth: 151 inches (W) x 120 inches (L) x 100 inches (H) � -- Fan vacuum structure (attached to rear of the spray booth): 121 inches (W) x 34 inches (L) x ����� 84 inches (H) - Install a Timer Activated Pulse/Purge Control - Install a Variable Frequency Drive - Install cartridge filters - Install collector system - Provide on-site training on system use, to include a hands-on actual powder coating demonstration Additional details can be found on the Statement of Work. �NOTE: A ONE-DAY SITE VISIT WILL BE REQUIRED BY ALL INTERESTED VENDORS. The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; 3. Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration;� 4. Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any. 5. Address the ability of meeting the requirements per the Specifications with a detail material specification or data sheet, pictures of the item, and authorized OEM letter to sale or distribute their products. Offers shall submit quotes electronically via email to Christopher.baker@noaa.gov no later than 1700 hrs EST, January 20, 2021. any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on the Technical specifications, availability and price. Quotes and other support documentation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Christopher Baker at Christopher.Baker@noaa.gov. Technical Specification is more important than price as this specification must conform to repairs upgrade of existing booth.
