Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to provide a continuation of effort currently being performed under contract N0001920D0017. This modification will increase the ceiling of the existing IDIQ to permit continued support for the TTWCS SDA, software and system engineering support/upgrades, and sustainment. The contract period of performance is five (5) ordering periods from FY2020 through FY2024. This contract was awarded to Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMC) on an Other than Full and Open Competition basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, because LMC is the only known source that possesses the knowledge of the TTWCS design, operation requirements, capability, and expertise required to successfully provide these supplies and services in an accurate and timely manner to meet the required Government schedule for continued Fleet support of this critical war-fighting capability without duplication of costs. The data associated with the TTWCS is export control and is not available to foreign sources or representatives. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response, to be received at the Contracting Office, no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference contract number N0001920D0017 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firms experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. The point of contact for LMC subcontracting opportunities is Jon Beckerman, LMC, at (719) 277-5408.
