Description
Industry Day Announcement: This is not a solicitation. A solicitation will be issued on or about mid-January 2021 and shall remain open for a minimum of 30 days. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contract Office 22 Gilbert has a requirement for on-going facilities support for general construction, alteration, modification, maintenance and repair, demolition and new construction of buildings, facilities and real property located at Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) VISN 22 facilities located in Southern California, New Mexico and Arizona. The intent of the project is to award a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC)/ Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The solicitation is 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under Public Law 109-461, 38 U.S.C. 8127 and 8128 that can perform the requirements under the categories described in the solicitation when posted. It is anticipated that the Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) will be divided by two (2) Regions (Southern California, Arizona/New Mexico) and further broken down by four (4) Dollar Value Categories. The intent is to allow SDVOSB contractors the ability to select the Region(s) as well as the Category of interest in which the firm as the ability to perform. The dollar categories may reflect as follows: The anticipated Ranges of Magnitude for this contract, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: Between: $2,000 - $249,999.99 $250,000 - $2,999,999.99 $3,000,000 - $9,999,999.99 $10,000,000 - $20,000,000 It is anticipated that there will be a total of four (4) Prototypical Seed Projects issued with the solicitation. The solicitation documents will include all specifications, statement of work (SOW) and drawings. There will be four (4) sites visits associated with the seed projects. Interested Contractors are strongly encouraged to attend one (1) or all four (4) site visits; date, time and location of site visits still to be determined. Information regarding the site visits will be indicated in the solicitation when posted along with POC information. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contractors. Small Business manufacturers for this NAICS code have a size standard of $39.5M. The term of the contract is intended to be a one (1) year Base Period from date of award, with four (4) one (1) option years to extend. Each task order will have its own completion date established. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204 is projected to be: More than $20,000,000.
