THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/ NOI SOLE SOURCE BRAND NAME ITEMS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BIDS / PROPOSALS.�No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research ONLY to determine the availability of Brand Name Items. The Federal Communications Commission intends to include the following proprietary items in a solicitation for a supply acquisition under authority of FAR 13.501(a) sole source (including brand-name). This project may include Brand Name only components, as described below, unless the results of this sources sought notification indicates otherwise. This notification serves three purposes: (1) to notify potential Offerors of the Government's intent to solicit brand name only items/components under a future supply requirement; (2) to identify potential sources that can provide the brand name only items/components and/or equivalent; (3) notification of the FCC's intent to contract sole source for a Brand Name Only, if the market is unable to provide 'equivalent' products. In the event no equivalent items/components exist, the Brand Name Only justification will be issued pursuant to FAR Part 5.102(a)(6) as part of the Combined Solicitation and Synopsis. SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENT: The supply procurement is for�Keysight Technologies, Inc PROPSIM F64 5G Channel Emulator, will include Brand Name only items/components as follows: (1) F8800A, PROPSIM F64 platform with 8 Channel Unit (CU) slots (8) F8800A-016, Signal BW 160 MHz 8 TRX ports per CU (8) F8800A-EX4, Extended Signal BW up to 900MHz 1 TRX ports per CU (8) F8800A-R60, RF opt. 6GHz (4) F8800A-RFL, RF Local oscillators for PROPSIM F64 (1) F8800A-R-47F-012-C, one-year maintenance repair and standard calibration (8) F8800ARF2, Channel Unit 8 TRX+ 8 TX ports (8) F8800ARF2-R-47F-012-C, one-year maintenance repair and standard calibration (1) F8800AAW8, PROPSIM F64 AWGN license for eight (8) CU�s (1) F8800AAW8-R-46N-001-L, node locked 12-month upgrade & support (1) F8800ACL8, PROPSIM F64 Integrated setup calibration for eight (8) Channel Units (1) F8800ACL8-R-46N-001-L, node locked 12-month upgrade & support (8) F8800AM8A, 8 MIMO CH (8) F8800AM8A-R-46N-001-L, node locked 12 months upgrade and support (1) F8800ASH8, PROPSIM F64 Shadowing support for eight (8) CU�s (1) F8800ASH8-R-46N-001-L, node locked 12-month upgrades and support (1) F8800AST8, PROPSIM F64 Standard Tools support for eight (8) CU�s (1) F8800AST8-R-46N-001-L, node locked 12 months upgrade and support (1) E7770A, Common Interface Unit (1) E7770A-R-C7B-001-1, 1yr hardware support plan (4) M1740A, mmWave Transceiver for 5G (4) F8800AUD1, Remote Radio Head driver (4) F8800AUD1-R-46N-001-L, node locked 12-month upgrades and support (7) PS-XSUP-012, Professional Services for Solutions Support 1yr from invoicing Expedited manufacturing & delivery to meet operational milestone Include manufactures calibration at the time of purchase Include all shipping charges to the final destination location. Interested vendors must show clear and convincing evidence that alternatives to the specified items exist. Interested vendors wishing to be considered by the Government as described above must provide a copy of its brochure and any other capability statements/ data�no later than 30 December 2020, 11:00 AM EST, to Contracting Officer, Teresa Dailey, Federal Communications Commission, Contracting Division, via email to�Teresa.Dailey@fcc.gov.� This is a sources sought and notification of intent only. This is not a request to respond to a solicitation. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the direction of the Government.
